We sat down with four people whose lives have been impacted by colon cancer. Some were living with the disease; some had lost loved ones to the disease. Our goal was to talk about clinical trials and their role in cancer research and to introduce a new website that offered information and guidance for those affected by the disease. The end result was raw, honest, and emotional, but most importantly it was a message of hope.
With a full day scheduled at the beautiful Josephine Butler House and the help of cinematographer Jose “Jerry” Santos from Flying Squid, we set up a 4-camera shoot to capture as many angles as possible. Our guests were amazingly candid and vulnerable and honest. Not a single tear or smile was missed!
