Love Your Butt – Colon Cancer Awareness Campaign
Change the narrative. We were challenged with broaching an often-awkward subject of colon cancer in a manner that was both attention-grabbing and respectful. Our goal was to create a truly fresh campaign that not only emphasized the importance of colorectal screening, but also encouraged people to become more comfortable discussing an uncomfortable subject. For three years in a row, we felt honored to have been such an integral part of the wildly-popular and super-successful awareness campaign that was Love Your Butt.

No Excuse for Abuse – Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign
No More and One Love partnered with Investigation Discovery to bring an awareness campaign to your TV. HUGO was tasked with creating the logo and brand identity, PSA, on-air and social assets to bring the campaign to life. Strong engagement on social media helped to bring the conversation forward in a safe, meaningful way to connect people from all walks of life who have experienced the struggles and pain from domestic violence. We were honored to have played a role in this campaign for two years in a row.
Street Pitch – Street Entrepreneurs
Street Entrepreneurs put on an event similar to that of Shark Tank, transforming the traditional pitch competition by mobilizing a collective of organizations to democratize who is involved, what they win, and how they are showcased. At Street Pitch, the top founders are identified by peer-selection and invited to pitch their companies to a panel of judges, investors, community supporters, and the audience.
Hosted by DC and Shark Tank's very own Brandon Andrews, the evening was awash with talented entrepreneurs, an excited audience, and investors looking to help grow the next generation of business leaders. HUGO was honored to lead the live stream tech and production crew, set up the event, design the graphics and animations, and help with overall strategy and logistics. Lives were changed that night and we couldn't have been more proud to help out.
Voting Initiative – I Am A Voter & ABC
Non-partisan I Am A Voter joined forces with ABC to bring a 7-spot "get out the vote" campaign. With content ranging from the history of voting, to explaining the 19th and 26th Amendments, these spots were informative and visually striking. We had the pleasure of working closely with the ABC design team and ideate, design, and animate all of the spots, some in an incredibly tight window.
But with millions of eyeballs watching both on linear television, as well as online, and a record turn out for the general election, we like to think we were able to play a small role in helping to encourage people, no matter who they voted for, that their voice mattered and it's worth showing up at the ballot box.
Washington Nationals Collaboration
The Associated Builders and Contracts and the Washington Nationals partner each year to celebrate the best and brightest stars of the construction, contracting, and craft industries. We were honored to be able to create various pieces of content as showcase piece during their annual meeting, as well as during the Nationals game.
National Association of Realtors – Conference Intro
The National Association of Realtors needed some content to help kick off an industry meeting and lead into the keynote speaker. With the goal of giving the audience a little boost of excitement, while also being informative, we landed on the idea of using motion design to tell their story.
